Emily Psolka is a Virginia based Graphic Designer and works as a Graphic Designer at the Academy Center of the Arts. Her tasks there include creating a plethora of marketing collateral – ranging from posters, to window clings, to animations, to material for seasonal publications – and assisting with social media, email marketing, and other tasks as needed. She has also created projects for interns while helping them foster their skills in design as they created materials for the organization.

Emily has been growing her design chops for three years, and delights in researching design, learning more about the principles of design, and in staying on top of design trends. She hopes to one day become an Art Director with the knowledge that she obtains in the coming years.

Emily enjoys researching homeopathic medicine, reading anything and everything, talks about the enneagram, embroidering, pizza dates with her husband, listening to TONS of dream pop (Japanese House, anyone?) and bingeing as much Gilmore Girls as possible (for now, at least).
